Frequently Asked Questions

  • Are you currently accepting new clients?
Yes! I’m currently accepting new clients in DC and Maryland. Sessions are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

How do I schedule a session?
You can schedule a free 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit. From there, we’ll decide on a time that works best for you.

    Do you only provide teletherapy?
Yes. I offer teletherapy for adults in DC and Maryland, so you can access therapy from the comfort of your home.

  • How long are therapy sessions?
    Most sessions are 53 minutes.

How long does therapy typically last?
Some clients come for short-term work, while others prefer ongoing support. The length of therapy depends on your needs, goals, and what feels most helpful to you.

    What is your cancellation policy?
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Missed sessions without 24-hour notice incur a $50 cancellation fee.

Where do I need to be during our sessions?
You’ll need to be physically located in DC or Maryland and in a private space where what we discuss can remain confidential.

  • What are your rates?

    • Intake session: $190

    • Individual session: $165

    Do you take insurance?

I’m an out-of-network provider, which means I don’t bill insurance directly. Many clients can submit claims to their insurance for partial reimbursement.
To make this easier, I use Thrizer, a HIPAA-compliant platform that checks your benefits, files claims, and manages reimbursements — so you can focus on therapy, not paperwork. Learn more about fees and insurance.

  • How can I schedule a free consultation?
You can schedule a 15-minute consultation here to see if we’re a good fit.

What if we’re not a good fit?
That’s completely okay. Finding the right therapist matters. If we decide we’re not the best match, I’ll help you connect with someone else who might be a better fit.
